well, I had the ugly sisters early in the season (three very ugly Rosso Togettas) but never did snap a pic. I didn't think I'd have an entry for this great contest until yesterday. I present "Alien Brains" for submission!

LOL! Lakelady - I'm voting for yours thus far! That DOES look like Alien Brains. It also looks like so many other things. For example, something with puke rolling out (sorry...but it's true).

lol. I am quite embarassed truly. It looked kinda cute from the top, half ripe half green. When I picked it and turned it over I almost fainted. My first thought of what it looked like was definately not nice at all lol...then Alien Brains popped into my head so that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
And here I thought I had nothing but lovelies to look at until this one came along.... Boy those Russo Togettas sure do have some deformed fruits! I had another one that looked like a big fat nose hanging off the end, but it broke off before I could snap a pic. Sorta reminded me of Jimmy Durante, lol....

Well, I didn't think I'd have an entry because this year I decided to pick off the ugly fruits as soon as I spotted them, but this one slipped my attention. It's a bit ironic that its name is Seek-No-Further Love Apple.
