Default What is your successful SWC fertiling regimen for cucumbers

Trying to get some insight on fertilizing cucumbers in self watering containers.

What are some of the methods you use that are tried and true?

Trying it this year for the first time.
Four sweet success in a 14 gallon SWC. I put one cup of slow release Lilly Miller 10 10 10 in a strip in the center. I have good healthy vines and those small female cukes with flowers but not many are going ahead and growing into cukes. Too many are shriveling with the tip yellowing and then they just dry up.

May your vines be plentiful!

Mine or not and I'd love to get a handle on why that is! We love cucumbers and this is pretty frustrating.

Jaysan,

In my 18 gallon EarthTainers I am using a 2 Cup strip down the long dimension, using the handles as reference points.

Thanks Ray. Are you using the same fert as me? I will try adding that second cup, maybe along the handle ends.
