Default People starting seeds right now - do you use grow lights?

Sorry about creating another thread, but i feel this is a better quesiton. for those starting seeds around this time for a fall crop, do you still use grow lights once they germinate or do you put them outside for natural sunlight? do you basically use the same growing process as you would if you starting seeds 6-8 weeks before your last frost date?

im in zone 9 and the weather is good right now. 80s during the day. 50s at night
