Default Radiators as bottom heat

Thank goodness for radiators!

My peppers and hot peppers only took about a week to germinate in a plastic greenhouse kit - they were nice and cozy on top of the covered 70 degree radiator (that was going to be on anyway to heat the house). I just moved them under the shop lights yesterday.

I started a tray of broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, parsley and eggplant on Saturday. A few more days, and then on to the tomatoes!

I started 4 tomato seeds in late January to try out my LED grow light - and to see if I could actually grow seedlings without screwing them up or killing them... I potted them up from 3" pots to 1 gallon pots on Monday. They were looking a little weird (yellowish on the leaves, which looked freaky under the pink/blue LED lights), but they were just getting too big for their pots. By yesterday, they were perking up nicely. Nothing like having a few test cases to do your learning on before you move on to a bigger scale.
