Default Caterpillar invasion

Is It just my place or what?
We have untold thousands of these critters in all colors sizes and shapes this year.
Fuzzy slick stripped black brown yellow orange and white everywhere.
Ever year we have some sort of new critter one year toads another birds stickbugs grasshoppers and so on this year caterpillars.

Every day the driveway is coverd in droppings if I let it go it would be an inch thick.
I know some of them sting but I like to let the fuzzy ones crawl on me.
As long as you dont mash them they wont hurt.
Yes they eat a little but no way will I try to kill them I figure it's just their turn this year, they will be gone soon.
