Seed Packs
Hi Rena, LEFT seed packet: lrg. red text (name of the variety): hoomu momotarou (Home Momotarou) blue text: Easy to grow, sweet tomato meant for the home garden This is the home version of Sakata Seeds' momotarou. I don't know which of the 9 is currently being sold in the US. It will produce 200-220g (7- 7 3/4oz) pink fruit. On the back of every seed packet in Japan it will tell you where the seeds come from and for this variety Thailand. MIDDLE: lrg. red text (name of the variety):furuuti bimi (Fruity Deliciousness) blue text: A fruit like sweetness, delicious mini tomato. I am not familiar with this variety. This seed comes from India. RIGHT: lrg. red text (name of the variety):minikyaroru (Mini Carrol) blue text:Sweeeet, delicious deep red, small cherry tomato. If memory serves me correct, this is one of three in Sakata Seeds' Carrol cherry tomato group; the other two are a yellow and a regular sized cherry tomato. I grew the yellow version a number of years ago and found it had a typical sweet cherry tomato taste to it. This seed comes from Thailand. Jeff |
