New Giant!
I had a taste of a new giant tomato last night.
Seed was sent to me by fellow Tomatovillian Jim in SC. It is called Kristinia Bulgarian #1. It is a large, pink tomato. Very meaty and mild tasting. The consistency is similar to the way a good piece of chocolate feels in your mouth as it slowly dissovles.... In other words, while this one is meaty, it is not gritty or pithy.... Very nice variety overall. Here's a couple of photos of the 1.75 pound monster my dad grew.   Lee
