Pot Size, Type and Soil Mix

Ok so i have a several Thai Hot, Aji Cristal and Tangerine Dream peps that need to be transplanted within the next few weeks. I tried searching on here and couldnt find the answers I was looking for.

What size Pot is the min used for healthy production?

What type of pot? (clay, plastic, smartpots, wood box)

What type of soil/ess planting medium used?

I am not interested in self watering or 5 gal buckets and asthetics should be taken into account to a certain extent as it will be in my front yard...maybe im asking too much

I welcome suggestions, thanks.
