We grow a deep red wine colored lettuce. We were given seeds by a lady who grew vegetables for the upper scale restaurents in the Seattle area. The variety was of French origin and had a wine name.IE Cabernet or Bourdeaux. My wife has 5 plantings separeted by 30 days. Her Korean friends all make repeated visits for lettuce. Can't give you the exact name of this variety which is the only lettuce we grow but I can send you seeds if your interested and shipping is free as well.
