Default PNW Melons - October 2006 harvest

We had one of the best summers here in Vancouver area - sunny, warm, and no rain.

And look what I picked yesterday and a week ago from my garden:

Hami Tiangua melon (seeds available):

Crimson Sweet watermelon - wasn't too red, but was sweet!

Pannonia watermelons (2.5-4 kg):

And all my neighbors were telling me that I was wasting my garden space trying to grow melons up in the mountains here!
