Cherokee Lemon

I included the top of the tomato in the pic to show the radial cracking. It really does look exactly like a yellow cherokee purple. My CP split exactly the same way. And the fruit are the same size; it's a slicer, but not a giant beefsteak like Dr Wyche's. Flavor is the typical mildness of a yellow tomato. It's not bad at all, but I just like yellow brandywine better. Plus the radial cracking tendency makes it hard to sell as a market tomato. I'm glad I grew Cherokee Lemon (thank you for the seeds, whoever you were), but I probably won't grow it again. |
