Pollen ?'s

What is the average time that one might expect to see pollen form on a C. Chinese pepper flower?? Immediately upon the flower opening, few days, week, more??

Is there a need to manually pollinate these peppers?? They are growing in a tropical environment. If one part of the flower is missing, (pistol/stamen), will a fruit still form?
