Yellow Pepper Leaves

I'm guessing yellowing pepper leaves are due to overwatering? Any other ideas would be very welcome. The varieties most affected are Lautchauer, Shi-Shi-To, and Sweet Red Cherry.

I'm also wondering if maybe I should go ahead and trim off the lowest branches with yellow leaves?
