Co-worker's Desk Orchid
My co-worker got a teenie weenie (like a foot tall with inch wide flowers) orchid plant as a gift after her mother passed in May, and it's not looking too hot right now. When she got it, it had tons of purple blooms, but within the past week all the blooms have fallen off and the stems are turning an orange/pink shade. The leaves are still green. It's in a VERY small pot, about the size or a large shotglass. I picked up some MG orchid food sticks for her this weekend and she's out today, so I cut one in half and stuck it in the pot and watered the plant for her. I've never had orchids before, is this behavior normal?
