Default My Digital Microscopic Viewer

JD's Special C-Tex seed up close. The first is at the lowest magnification. The next is at 75% magnification. I like it. Ami

I'm jealous... I love the real close ups. Cool pics.

I love the really fuzzy seeds! It is amazing how they suck up the water in that velcro fuzz when put on damp starting mix! Then the fuzz gets plumped! Ah, unifocal nearsightedness has its benefits (LOL)!

It's a Carson MM-740 zPIX 200. The price was right, around $65.00 and as you can see the resolution is pretty good. Setup was a snap and worked as advertised. Ami

You could get a good look at seeds before you plant to see if they are damaged. You could use it to look for damages in leaves. I could see all kinds of benifits to using it in the garden. Wanna buy me one Ami???

PS thanks for all the help with finding the MycoGrow. Really appreciate it

Hey, that's looks like the same quality I see with my binocular microscope. The only thing to watch out for is that the more magnification you use - the less depth-of-field you have. So that with a seed laying flat, you can actually have the tips of the little hairs in perfect focus and the base of the hairs out of focus.

"Looking good in Ami's neighborhood".
