Hardening off
It's getting close to planting time. I brought all the tomatoes up out of the basement today to start hardening off. I grew out 30 plants for one guy. I sent those home with him today. I gave a friend 3 plants today, and I have another 15 plants to pass out this weekend (hopefully tomorrow). I figure if I'm giving them plants, they can harden them off themselves
This is a pic of my 24 plants plus Earl's requests for CHOPTAG. I have 4 plants coming from Darrel and 3 from CHOPTAG. This is about double what I intended to plant out! These are the leftovers. Some of these I will take to CHOPTAG and the rest are for sale. My little wagon works perfect for moving the plants in and out of the building/shade/sun as needed. There's about 60ish plants in here. My hydrangeas are just starting to leaf out. Hostas and other assorted perennials are just starting to poke through the ground.

Yep wide wheels and they are actual tires. So it pulls and turns great.
I don't know if anyone remembers a TV show called Evening Shade with Burt Reynolds in it. Anyway, there was a man on there called Nub.....who pulled his wagon everywhere he went. I always have one of my wagons with me when I'm outside. It's just handy to have with me. So my family calls me Nub
