Barbee NBD seed in the mail tomorrow and I have only grown it in a 16 inch pot so not sure how small it will take just may need more water in a smaller pot in the heat.

Maybe I should order some of both sizes. That way, we've got everything covered.

Just a thought, but if there are any nurseries in your area, they may have containers big enough for dwarf plants that they are going to just throw away. Maybe they would give them to you for little to nothing. Worth a shot.

Update for those interested.
The big plant out was today. I ended up with NBD (thanks Craig) and Nicholayev (sp) Cherry (thanks Pat) plus we had all sort of peppers and even some hybrids. The pots were donated, the plants were donated, so all we had to purchase was the soil mix. We had 15ish Master Gardeners show up to help with the plantings and the residents were coming in droves to get their free plant plus a baggie of fertilizer to do them for the summer. We ended up potting up and delivering around 50 containers plus we planted their large raised bed that ran the length of the building with tomatoes and peppers. It was a blast and we're going back this fall and getting that huge raised bed ready and amended for a big plant out of all sorts of garden produce next year.
