Thanks. It was wonderful tasting, very sweet and juicy with a hint of smokiness.

This was my first time growing this variety, and I wasn't quite sure how to gauge ripeness. It must have been just about right, though, because it seemed perfect. It's a healthy looking plant with lots of large tomatoes--definitely will grow again.

hi, squint! welcome to tomatoville! wow, you gave me something to really look forward to. i'm growing a duo of ananas noire. mine are barely setting fruit though. how early did you start yours? i'd love to harvest some around this time next year.

Hi Moonglow, thanks for the welcome. This place has helped me out a lot in the short time I've been here.

I planted around mid March, which was a little early for me (I think I'm considered zone 9b). We did have a few unusually cold nights of ~35 causing one plant to suffer from slight frostbite, but it recovered quickly. I gave a few plants to a friend across town that were planted in early April, and she said her plants are huge now and loaded with tomatoes that are just starting to ripen.
