Default rotten Big Mama romas

I had blossom end rot a few week ago. i used lime in 1 gal of water it stopped, now another set of nasty rotten Romas. Some is 5 gal pots not on the ground, and 2 plants in the ground

Well, it was mentioned to you in that thread that Blossom End Rot is generally caused by the weather and water, not by a lack of calcium in the soil. It was also mentioned that most additives and sprays are ineffective, and that it would clear up on its own when the weather conditions changed. Same advice applies.

Remember: many parts of the northern U.S. had near record snow accumulations, so the soil was very, very wet this spring. And, we have a below-normal temp summer so the soil really hasn't had a chance to dry much. When I dig down about 8 inches or so, the soil is still pretty damp.

Like you, I added lime (3 times actually)...which really helped - but I don't want to add anymore for risk of altering the pH too much. Let's hope we don't get so much rain this fall and snow this winter...
