Default My Tomato "Haul" & Indian Stripe Sliced - Dec 13 (pics)

As we had a freeze earlier in the week, I harvested a number of Carmello, Dona, Goose Creek, Cherokee Purple and Indian Stripe as they were blushing:

The large Indian Stripe that I picked a week ago finally has ripened and I thought I would slice it up:

Taste was excellent (but I guess ANY from-the-garden tomato will taste great this time of year). I am saving seeds from a few more Indian Stripes of this size that are still on the vine and blushing now.

You lucky dog Ray. They sure dont look like winter tomatoes. I'll be by to pick up a few for dinner tonight.

Fantastic Ray, they look beautiful and so juicy.

Was that from the Garden or SWC's?

Salty,

After 20+ years of in-ground gardening, I have switched exclusively to only growing my vegetables in EarthTainers. With the Automated Watering System that I use for 30 of them, I never have to do anything during the Season, after planting - just sit back and watch them produce.

Corn does pretty well in them:

And Snow Peas love them:

I also get a longer growing season in the Fall / Winter as the side walls of the EarthTainers benefit from the warmth of the low angle Sunshine this time of year.

Nice one Ray, i am impressed.

Oh dear, i fiddle with my SWC's way too much, adding this and that, sprays etc
This set and forget sounds wonderful.
I think next year i will refine my Potting Mix, not grow so many plants at once (26 this year and there is only me) add a self watering system.

I have found adding the Sulphate or Potash did help them flower and made the flowers more healthy and vibrant.

Great work on your other crops Ray, they all look so good.
