We Have Snow In Albersbach
Woke up this morning and after it lightened up a bit saw all this white stuff on the ground. First snow this winter for us and maybe a white Christmas will be in the cards this year. Ami

Nice pictures as always, Ami. Snow has been here as well in Minsk, but for a week or so...

Ami, your part of Germany is always a bit colder than ours. This night we are expecting the first frost - and I do hope that the snow will wait till Christmas. clara

Gosh Ami, that is beautiful. You need to put that first picture on your Christmas cards. I hate the cold weather but that almost makes me want to have snow in Texas which is far and few between.

Ami, as always your photos remind me of my time living in Schweiz over 30 years ago. Same sort of scenery, and same feel when snow covered, beautiful as ever. You have a gift for taking beautiful pictures.
However, I have to agree with Neva, that is a postcard or Christmas card view! I just wish the snow around here would follow those guidelines, stay on the scenery and off the roads....hehehe. We got walloped over the weekend with about 10cm of snow and high winds, so drifts were close to 1m high in places. My backyard had way more than 10cm it seems, but it was hard to tell with all the swirling snow and high winds and snow drifts. Thankfully allot of it has melted, just not all of it, nor fast enough for my liking. |

Yes, it looks like in Switzerland when we've been there in 2007 at our friend's house in mountain area at 1500 m.
Neva You name is also the name of the famous Russian river on which St.Petersburg has been built more than 3000 years ago By the way, today we have at least -20 C outside and -25 C is expected at night. This is our real winter with snow and quite low temperatures
