Don't know if you are a member of Sam's Club or not but if you are you need to check out their drip hoses. They sell as a pair of 50 ft hoses for around 12.50. Seemed like a good deal to me so I bought about 8 bundles of them. Best money I have spent in all my years of gardening. You can remove the water restriction piece and hook them together for up to 150 ft. Man have they saved me some time this year and really helped in keeping my plants drier. Seems no mater how carefully you water with a hose you end up wetting the leaves and splashing soil up onto the lower leaves if they haven't been mulched.
