The Self Watering Containers in the photos are based on the EarthTainer, which I compiled from a number of ideas (both from Tomatoville members as well as my own innovations). Go to this link for more detailed information (Video and Construction Guide):

Regarding the container mix, I have trialed 31 combinations of ingredients, and what works best (for me) is a 3:2:1 ratio of Potting Mix, small pine bark chips, and Perlite. This keeps the Combo Mix light and well draining.

Thanks Kevin,

Now that July is just around the corner, the Sun and heat should really kick them into high gear.

I just bought Shade Cloth to put over the main area in August, as here, sun-scald was a big problem for me last Season.

....got to "pamper" them for best results.
