First blush!
Sungold wins! It was a little shy, so it hid behind the stake. Then I ruthlessly picked it. It's now cowering on my windowsill, trying not to ripen so it doesn't get eaten.
That truss of babies set fruit in consistent 95-and-up heat, but the 101 day two days ago kinda killed off fruitset on the other open flowers it in spite of the spritzing I've been doing. |

Mine died from fusarium wilt but not before producing several hundred wonderful tasting cherries. As to setting in the heat, I was over at a friends to look at his garden this morning and his Sungold is still setting like mad even in the awful heat we are having.
