I love morning glories! Mine have buds on them but no flowers as of yet.

What kind of morning glory is it? A Japanese one perhaps?

Yes, it is a Japanese one. The joke is that apparently they do not like all the daylight in an Alaskan summer, so they are still only about 4 or 5 inches tall. And they haven't grown a bit in weeks!

They sure do need something. Quite sad little things, really.

(I don't have a ready source for caribou poo, but can step out the back door and get all the moose poo I could want!)
