Default Spots on My Anaheim Peppers

Can anyone tell me what these spots are on my peppers? Not sure if it's something I can cut off and still eat the rest or whether I need to toss the whole thing. I hope I don't have to toss the whole thing because I only have five.

Thanks!

Looks like Anthracnose, a fungus infection. Are there spots on your leaves too?

There don't seem to be any spots on the leaves at all so it's a bit mystifying. There are more peppers growing on the plant so I might pull them while they're still green, maybe I can harvest them before the fungus gets them.
