Ciliegia Picante, Hinkelhatz, round of Hungary
Any opinions on these?
We dig the Aji Flor (orchid pepper) we got at a trade last year, mostly sweet with a touch of floral heat in the middle. It looks like Round of Hungary is a cute thicker walled sweet- we have a hard time getting bells ripe here so are looking at a smaller sweet pepper. . . . . He likes cherry bombs but we havent had any plants be super prolific so I am interested in trying the Cilieglia Picante and Hinkelhatz for pickling. Thanks for any input! |

Hinkelhatz are wonderful for pickling. They are one of my favorite peppers. It is moderately hot, has a somewhat sweet flavor.
PM me if you want some, I have both red and yellow in quantity. |
