I'm in-between you two, but my garden is open to the sky and gets bay breezes, so everything was frozen yesterday: tomatoes, peppers (except the one with violas growing through it inside a bubble-wrapped cage), eggplants, cukes, and yacon. The alstroemeria and nasturtiums had some cold damage but weren't totally melted like the tomatoes and yacon.

For me, it feels like summer is finally over when I have to pull the cucumber plants.

My EarthTainers are mostly up against the house wall facing South, so they get some shelter from the North winds. Some of the foliage did sustain frost damage, now turning purple:



However, the "core" of the plants appear to have survived fairly well:

Goose Creek


Indian Stripe has also come through, although the middle of the plant appears to have frost damage:



Unfortunately, the Pepper plants are looking sad:



But no damage at all on the Snow Peas:



So hopefully, we will be good for another 4 weeks......
