Default Stupice not germinating!!

For the past 2 years, Ive tried to grow stupice, but it doesn't germinate when all my other tomatoes are doing fine. I've tried 2 different reliable seed sources, so its not their fault! Is stupice just a difficult seedling? What should I do? Keep trying? Thanks!

Stupice is no more and no less difficult than any other variety to germinate. What was your seed source?

One was Tatiana's tomato base, and I can't remember the other one right now.

Are your other varieties germinating ok ? If so and you are starting the Stupice seed the same way then you could have just gotten some bad seed. It happens even from the best sources.

Mine germinated fine this past summer saved from my spring plants. I've got plenty and if you want to try some more just PM me your address and I'll send you some.

No problems here two years running with Stupice, purchased seed and saved seed. However, my Uralskiy Ranniy seed saved from last year is rather tempermental. Had to reseed it twice and germination is still an issue. Maybe the seed is older? Try soaking it for and hour and then try in a baggie with paper towel? Is the seed rotting before germination occurs? Throw me a pm and I'll throw you some known to be viable seed if you want.
