February 2011 seedling Pictures
I planted some tomato seeds (rutgers, brandywine, super beefsteak, cherokee purple, and what I was told a German yellow/red. I planted on 2/14/2011 and started seeing signs of life on 2/18/2011. I tried to follow Craig's dense planting method like I did last year. Last year I had great success following Craigs advice using his method. I have attached a couple of pictures so you can see how they are doing. I actually started about 1 month earlier this year and I will plant more on about March 14. I am going to try to sell a few plants this year to recover some minor expenses. Take care everyone.

I did enjoy the McDonald's oatmeal the one time I tried it, but threw the container away! Great idea and I foresee several healthy breakfasts in my near future!!!

They're looking great - I can't wait to get started, maybe today.
Where/to whom do you sell your extra plants? |

I am going to try to sell a few locally. This is my first time selling tomato plants so I don't know how well it will turn out. I will see how this turns out and if all goes well I can go bigger next year. I am probably only going to sell about 150-200 plants hopefully. I don't know, we'll see how it goes.

I love using the coffee cups from McDonalds, they insulate the roots nicely.
