First time gardener help
I have a raised bed garden that i started for my first time this year. I purchased 11 tomato plants. 10 same variety and one different. The 10 are growing great and have had no problems. The one different variety looks like it has not grown at all in the last two weeks. The leaves are curling upwards and the veins on the leaves look dark colored. What could be causing this? should i pull the plant? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

I think the stress of planting out can do that sometimes.
I also see those symptoms if one of my plants is getting watered inconsistently (sometimes one of my drippers gets plugged) I also get severe leaf roll when I prune my plants heavily. (not your problem) Cool weather and herbicide damage can also cause leaf roll, as will certain viruses. I wouldn't pull it yet, make sure it is getting watered and see how it looks in another week or two. It may just be a variety more sensitive to environmental stress than the other variety you grow. Good luck! Steve |
