My first thought was herbicide damage as well, but I was puzzled since only two of the four plants I gave him are showing the problem. I'll forward this to him and see if I can get more information.

MN still has power, for the moment.

Gary, I did say above that the plants could be affected to one degree or another b'c if it is herbicide drift where it goes can be blocked, hitting some plants hard and others hardly at all.

And why do I know this personally? B/c one summer I had a huge Master Gardener group coming to my tomato field for a look see and they could take home fruits from all the plants that did NOT have RED tags on them, that was a joke. but I waited for an AM with hardly no breeze and went out there with Roundup to get rid of the weeds.

And there was vaiable damage to plants, that was very evident, even though I held the wand as closely as I could near the base of the weeds.

And so, we live and learn.

And now to get ready to see/hear the Fireworks that the Fire Dept sponsors at about 9 PM tonight, but here at home, and b'c I'm up higher off the village and valley floor and can actually see some of the show. Pardon my age but I do NOT want to hear the music the disc jockey of the day plays and after last year and loads of complaints from folks in the village I hope it won't happen again.
