I never got any germination from the peppers that went through the dehydrator I have more, and can try again just out of curiosity though, once I finish seeding the sweet peppers today. For those that I rescued, they had been lying on the ground, were soggy from constant rain, and had been covered by snowfall twice. I don't think the temp here has gotten below 25 degrees this winter yet, and not for very long when it has, since most of what we have had so far has been rain, not snow. I have more of these rescued seeds if anyone would like some, I would just say to plant heavily as the germ was probably somewhere between 40 and 60 percent? I'm not sure as I didn't count how many seeds I was dropping in each hole but it was at least 6, but I have had several come up in several of the cells.

I now have several vigorous "Iraq Red Pepper" under my lights. It will be interesting to see how they do in the wet Georgia climate this summer.
