Alpine strawberries under raspberries?

I've just started a new raised bed with raspberries. (I'm a complete newbie to raspberries.) I also have some Alpine strawberries that need to go somewhere. Would these two do well together?

Not underneath, strawberries need full sun. The suckers and need to prune canes may be problematic later on.

The strawberries wouldn't actually be under the raspberries but more along the outside edges of the bed. But still, yeah, good point. *sigh* Now I have to figure out where else to transplant these goofy Alpine strawberries.

I have alpine strawberries planted next to raspberries and they are both doing great. Just make sure you put the strawberries on the sunny side of the raspberries, if you understand what I mean...

Last night, I got to thinking... I have more Alpine strawberries than I even want. LOL Why not go ahead and plant a few around the edge of the raspberry bed anyway? If they don't do well, so what?

My only concern is whether or not they'll harm the raspberries since raspberries are so shallow rooted. So I'll probably still not do it, at least until I get enough raspberries growing to not care as much.

I have strawberries planted under raspberries (not sure where I read to do this) and as long as the strawberries receive lots of sunlight, it's been a great thing!

Removing the straying raspberries by the roots sometimes disturbs the strawberries, but other then that it's been good.
