Default June rain

Now Sunday morning, my plants have been deep in the ground for 9 days and were starting to grow with new dark leaves on top before this 2-3inch of rain.
last June this happened just like this and stopped all my plants from growing, after 45 days in July they started growing again. Most were terrible under 3ft tall by summers end small fruit then fungas i picked my fruit as they died and rippened inside. All my neighbors never got fruit till very late summer, lets hope this is a different year. There is a rumor that the sun will come out in 3 days from today.

Filmnet, I feel your pain! here in Michigan we had a similar spring/summer last year, very cold & wet and everything was late.

Hope things dry up soon!

Yeah, we sure did get a lot of rain yesterday. Hopefully it doesn't cause too much trouble.

Sorry your garden is off to a slow start with the wet cool weather. We're getting way too much rain here, too- it's raining as I type. I've only been able to spray twice and each time it's rained within 24 hours. I hope that your weather gets better soon so your plants take off and give a great harvest.

Kath I just saw the weather, the rain now in New Jersey, New York which you got i expect yesterday is coming to the ocean and will turn north to Maine and drop to us in a few days.
So much for the drought we had this spring, they said we are caught up now.

Things looking pretty grim here in Maine too. We just got hit with over 6 inches of rain in just two days! I've never seen anything like it. The heavy, and I mean heavy rain started on Saturday morning and never stopped. It's stilll raining today, although not as heavy, but it literally has not stopped since Saturday. I think Thursday the rain will finally let go for a couple of days.
