Default My tomato plants all look like they have CMV

My tomato plants all look like they have CMV this year - although not all parts of the plants seem equally affected. Most plants are 4-5 feet tall already, although no fruit set on the big indeterminates yet. What is the best thing to do? Since all plants are infected, just ride them out and hope for some harvest, or just yank em all? More aphids in the garden than I can ever recall seeing in past years (and no ladybugs so far). It always seems to be something ......

ca1ore,

It seems unlikely all of your plants would have CMV, although, I guess it is possible. Herbicide damage has symptoms very similar to CMV so it is something else to consider. At any rate, since all of your plants are inflicted, and unless you have backups, I would just ride it out and see what happens.

Happened to me this year, still not sure whether it was cmv or herbicide damage. First had to replant all my tomatoes, completely lost a few peppers, the noticed the leaves looking off on the rest of the peppers and disortion of new pods. I don't know if herbicide can do fruit damage. I am fairly certain the neighbor used weed and feed this year. I know it wasn't soil amendments, did not sure manure this year, and the leaf compost I used is produced locally and tested for herbicides. haven't really seen any aphids though, either.
