Default Sub artic or Siberian for a winter crop?

Hi, I need some advise from the expert growers. Im planning to grow tomatoes over winter here in NZ. Min day temp around 10oC with an occassional winter frost. I will grow them in containers on a sheltered and covered porch. The only two varietes that seem to be available are the Sub Artic and the Siberian.
Has anyone grown these ?
I would appreciate some comments on how they would cope in a container and the general flavour of the fruit.
Thanks.

I had "sub-artic plenty" if that is the same thing. They did survive a very heavy frost, which was remarkable - it killed all my other plants. Everything else about the variety was very mediocre, though.
