Ultrasorb
Ok, I bought some ultrasorb DE. I'm using it for the first time as a trial for my starts. Has anyone noticed "steam" or "smoke" coming off of the ultrasorb when you water it? Thanks Lorri D

Thanks
I was feeling a little crazy writing my question down. I just got a little worried about it, because along with the dust, I also heard a sizzling or snap-crackle-pop like rice crispies. I feel silly now, I should have known better. hahahaha Lorri D |

Now I'm hungry for some of the rice crispy treats I made a few hours ago. Lorri, how have your seeds done in the DE? I'm going to use it when I start my seeds this year too.

So far, they have done the same or slightly better. I am still experimenting. I think my ultrasorb is a medium grade and I think I'd it to just be a little finer. Lorri D
