Default Confused squash bugs

Everything I've read says squash bugs lay the eggs on the under side of the leaves. It seems I have a few that didn't get the memo cause they laid them on TOP . This is great for me since I can see them by just walking by the plants. I'm glad to report that the eggs have been squashed and more pyrethrin dust applied to the base of the plants. It also appears that only one of the 3 plants is affected. Hopefully I will be able to get a couple zukes this year.

I just found SVB in my squash plants. I pulled them and might plant one summer squash since it is still early. Hopefully get some fruit before summer is over.

I may not grow squash next year - I need a break from the SB's and SVB's with this particular plant. The SB's are easy to control but the SVB's are daunting.

Knock on wood, I haven't seen any SVB's. Hopefully the roadblocks I have up will work.
