Default pest on pattypan squash - what are they?

I just went to water and noticed one half of my pattypan squash plant was wilted despite moist soil. I looked for signs of vine borers then noticed these small flea like bugs congregated on my first flower about to bloom and under one leaf. These look too dark to be squash bugs, no?
They are very small flea sized specks. I snipped a leaf and have been staring at it and they are very inactive not moving at all.
I am stumped. Any ideas?

Yes, look up black bean aphid. If that is what they are, then it will be easy to control. Good luck.

As some fun and a side note,we visit Jamacia to a friends estate and we sometimes take a "patty pan" to travel around.Maybe the aphids are trying to do the same.
