Default Egg Yolk and Maalina Ima tomato pic

Egg Yolk and Maalina Ima fruits are very similar. The MI fruits are slightly larger. Taste is the same. Some of the MI fruits have a slightly darker shade than the Egg Yolk fruits.

Do you mean this one - Maailma Ime (the Wonder of the World)?

Just checking the name - there is a tomato called "Maailma Ime" in its Estonian version. "WotW" is the English translation.
Since Estonian and Finnish are related, I can vaguely understand some Estonian words.

If you click on the English flag on that link, it will show up in a language you can understand.

First let me note that in mid July of 2012 we had approximately 12 inches of rain total since the first of the year; for the same time period in 2013 we have had approximately 36 inches. So a lot of wet weather and no conducive to good pollination.

Having said that the Egg Yolk has been fairly productive. After bearing 4 or 5 fruits, the MI had some problems and I pulled it. so can not comment.

I received the variety from a trade partner in Hungary and unless I misread his writing, which is very possible, the way I have it listed is the way he spelled it. It is probably the same variety as in the link. Thanks for the reference.
