That is a big harvest. Worth was right pick it now. While it has green shoulders and a yellow flush.
Perfect! Definitely a keeper.

Don't know what happened to my text that went with the picture.
This is my fertilizer acquisition manager: W.J. (grandson). We buried a fish under every tomato plant. I'm not sure of how much it helped, but these are the best looking tomatoes I have ever had. |

I do the same thing. Fish head and shrimp scales are great for tomatoes.

Brandy Wine fest
I wish they all wouldn't get ripe at once!
Had BLTs and some of my sweet corn tonight! Life is good. Its such a blessing to have a bumper crop after last years drought burnt most of my garden to a crisp. |

They are Sudduth pink. I am very impressed with them. They seem to be holding at about 6'6" high. My German Pink are 9' high in my hoop house but lack the qualities of the Brandy Wine. I got the seed from Seed Savers out of Decora, Iowa. Seedsavers.com I think. I am trying my hand at saving the seed......so far so good....time will tell...I have never done it before.......fermenting, washing, and bleaching. I plan to do a germination test next week to see if I'm on the right track.
