My first ripe Bombay Morich here in Atlanta - four months after planting. This is one slow plant. Haven't cut into it yet - has anyone else had one ripen?
Addendum: After a close look at my 6 Bombay Morich plants, the others look more like the long, wrinkled pepper in the picture I posted above of the peppers bought in Dhaka. This one is different - shorter, rounder. It is the only plant with this rounder pepper. It came from the same batch of peppers as the longer, more pointed versions. Here is the real Bombay Morich. Have you ever seen a more wicked looking pepper? They are very slow to ripen, but now coming in here in Atlanta. Can't wait for year 2 on these plants.
