Last year I killed myself looking for bark fines in my area. I ended up using promix bx with added hemlock mulch, perlite and ferts. I had great results, and didn't have to break my head over all the ingredients. Just keep a steady but weak dose of fertilizing when watering with containers. Just my two cents worth.
