Bulgarian Carrot is my all-time favorite chili pepper to grow. The flavor and heat are both outstanding!

Its really a nice pepper-fruity, but has some heat. I need to grow it again. Been years since I have.

I'm growing it for the first time this year but I'm afraid it will be too hot for me. I want to make some sauce, or salsa using orange banana tomatoes, which for those of you who may not know, are similar to Sungold in flavor.

we have grown it several times, including this year. for you first timers growing it, just use a small amount in recipes until you find the level of heat you like. you can always add more. hard to take it out once its in there.

Was looking at this one on TGS the other day. Pretty fruit and interesting description. Might have to give it a try. I've got Habs, Jalapenos and an Aji Limon this year.

The heat level is comparable to Serrano. The flavor is also intense, so you can use a small amount and not be disappointed!

From what I have read, Bulgarian Carrot tends to be a pretty compact, but productive plant. Do you find this to be the case? I am always looking for another pepper I can squeeze into a spare pot on my driveway!

In my experience it is a medium size chili pepper plant at maturity.
