Tomatoes In "Soil Sausages"
Believe it or not these bad-boys have only been planted in the bags for two weeks (from 3" pots).
From wild idea to proven technology in two weeks! All we did is make a 16' long form out of 2 x 12's, lay 6' woven landscaping fabric in the form and zip tie them shut. Here's the mix (Per 16' Bag): #3.5 3.8 Cubic Foot Bags of Potting Soil (We use TH-1 w/Actino Iron, Pro-Mix will work) #2 Cubic Feet of Vermiculite #3 5 Gallon Buckets of Leaf Mould Compost 16 Cups of Fertilizer Blend (Crab Shell Flour, Chicken Feather Meal, Fossilized Seabird Guano, Sulfate of Potash & Azomite) Will keep you updated on the progress! I'll be planting 350 more tomatoes in this manner in the coming weeks. |

That doesn't appear to be a traditional greenhouse. Is it a re-purposed gardencentre?
