I will have a BLT made from the Giant Italian Beefsteak! Any chance of sharing your recipe for bacon?

Between the pics of tomatoes and smoked slabs of bacon-y delight, I think I've seen enough food porn to die happy

Thanks for looking and commenting.
madddawg I'll post the recipe in the recipe section if it is allowed. Otherwise I can post it here.

By late February my plants were looking unhealthy due to something affecting them so I started the cleanup. I suspect it was russet mite.
There were still quite a lot of fruits on the plants.

Some of the larger ones. The slicers are my favourite.

The unknown beefsteak variety.

Cant remember what this one was.

Was eagerly awaiting this one. Prudens Purple.

Gregoris Altai.

More harvest.

Carol at Knapp's Fresh Vegies has seeds for this one. Carol is a member here as well.

If i remember right, it was 7 billion with 4 something in cash. They were really after Smithfield's proprietary hog data. China is desperate to feed and keep peaceful their new middle class.
China has a bad reputation for adulterated products. I make a point to not buy any of their products just for that reason.

Lovely!
You have an interesting looking plant behind the Prudens Purple, it has yellow/orange fruit (or looks like it). What is it?
