Default And the winner is...

...Sweet Pea Currant, by a nose. Germination time: 4 days. Just two hours later, Persimmon poked its head above the dirt (okay, seed starting mix), followed by Earl's Faux and Cherokee Purple approximately 1-3 hours later.
Yet to cross the line: Azoychka, Caspian Pink, Marianna's Peace, Berkeley Tie Dye, Green Giant, and Kimberly. Bunch of slackers.

They say a watched pot never boils. I really need to quit staring at seedlings and get a life.

what do you mean 'get a life'? I see nothing wrong with staring at seed flats for days. Any more than that danged IRC that now occupies every spare moment of my life

There won't be any seedlings to stare at for almost two months around here, so in the meantime I'm staring at packets of dry seeds, empty seed flats, and bags of seed-starting mix.

When I'm not staring at those, I'm staring at this darn computer screen.

It beats staring out the window at all that gosh darnoodley snow!

I'll trade you some seedlings for some snow. Of course, I can say that because snow never sticks around for more than a few hours here anyway.
All the seedlings except for Caspian Pink and Berkeley Tie Dye are now up. Guess I'd better quit putting off setting up my lights.

Sugar Lump in 2 1/2 days was the winner for me with Galina up a half day later. No one else has emerged, but hopefully they will all start popping up soon.

Everyone's up and running for me now. Berkeley Tie Dye was last to sprout, by a good few days, but they're strong little seedlings.
I have to re-sow Red Cheese peppers, though. Only one sprouted.
