Anybody Know What This Is?
My son just bought a house that has this vine plant growing prolifically in his yard. The stems are very stiff and the blossoms are beautiful. It has the grabby thingys at the ends of branches like a pea plant or morning glory. I would like to know what it is.
Thanks. Charley |

Definitely perennial peas.
When I moved back East to home in 1982 there was a falling down greenhouse and I bought seeds and sowed them all around the outside and let them climb wherever they wanted to go. Blooms can be white or lavender or pink, for different plants. Carolyn

Many of those once lived along the highway here in Ohio and they all disappeared a few years ago. While transplanting one to my yard, I think I dug down about 1 1/2' and there seemed to be no end to the plump root. It transplanted fine but died out years later with the other ones.
