Default We are growing elephant ears and the leaves are turning brown

what can be causing this?

Can you take a picture?
Do they have enough water?
The old leaves will turn yellow to brown anyway.

The only thing I have ever had happen to mine were some kind of nasty grub like thing that girdles the leaf at the base where the leaf connects to the stalk.

I grow mine in 40 gallon plastic feed tanks buried in the ground with no holes and filled with soil.

It keeps them ground level so you cant see the tubs.
I fill them with water about once a month.
If not I would spend a fortune on water.

They like shade at least good partial shade and plenty of water.

if they wilt down the bottom leaves on mine turn yellow and die. Have you had yours get wilted? and they require fertilizer regularly, too.
